The new convention centre is expected to house national and international conventions, product launches, concerts, exhibitions in conjunctions with seminars, entertainment performances in conjunction with conventions and award ceremonies.

Royal palms has already invested Rs450 crore in constructing two five star hotels in Mumbai: Palms Hotel and Imperial Palace. The additional investment of Rs50 crore on the new convention centre is expected to supplement the previous investment in the five start hotels by enabling the hotel with higher room occupancy.
