Treasure inn - The antiques shop at the Oberoi

Established in 1993, Treasure Inn at the Oberoi Shopping arcade is an art collector's delight . One is mesmerised by the very look of the shop. The shop is a treasure trove of antiques. You name an item and it is there - tablelamps, bell jars, pully lamps, and much more. One can even find a pin hole camera . Nautical instruments such as telescopes can be bought from Treasure Inn.

The products available are either genuine antiques or reproductions The antiques are collected from all over the country from authentic sources. The reproductions are mostly obtained from Ferozabad in north India. Depending on the supply one can obtain some really rare pieces. Old antique watches can be bought and repaired at Treasure Inn.

The demand for antiques is not just restricted to Indians, as the bulk of the customers are foreign tourists who are ever willing to purchase items . According to Ayaz Amir, the owner of Treasure Inn, his shop has a "variety of nice things to offer ". You can purchase a key ring , or you could take a fancy to a gramophone. At Treasure Inn you have a choice of antiques that will keep you interested for hours on end.
